The red is certainly a better choice than yellow on white. However, the yellow could look quite nice on a colored shirt.
The flame shape is better in its current form than than before, but I can't help but see this stop short of being interesting. It's a fairly obvious solution.
Try the O8 being as tall as the three lines of type together? and make all three lines begin/end at the same point, except for the 08 which would tie them together on the right edge.
